I thougth it would be nice to have a place to come and discuss this amazing week.
I for one am emotionally exhausted. I have lots to say but not the time now, so I will elaborate more later, but I am so very proud of how brilliant this week has been. James and Eloise have done us proud.

True Eloise was amazing in her scenes. James wasn't acting, he was living those moment. It just didn't seem like acting. What i loved most about acting from both of them, was their eye expression. Their eyes seemed like they were talking and feeling too. It was just unreal. The writers also did a brilliant Job. The dialogue, all the little points they mentioned was just superb.

had been dreading it for months to be honest and yep i have thought this week has been amazing but totally gutting at the same time if that makes sense. i live with the very very faint hope that maybe just maybe when James leaves the show (and to please the fans and boost the ratings - and if his character hasn't had a popular pairing with someone) she might just come back in his last episode - sort of in his dreams to give him advice or something. I know know. Wishful thinking.

Hi Guys finally found myself here.
I thought it was beautifully done. The acting from James was excellent. However, the worse part of it is that I get to see it all over again when it airs in the uk. My own fault but when I found out about it I couldn't help but find a way of watching it.

You know I still really haven't really studied the eps since the accident..its still too hard for me I think...but I will soon...I think. Watching all of these youtube clips though there are 2 moments that get me every single time. Firtsly their final scene in the hospital room when she begins to drift off and he talks about Indy's first birthday and he leans in and whispers "and we are there...together"...ugh killer . Secondly that scene at home when he accidentally serves up cake for her, and they all fall silent, and he struggles to carry on, with tears filling his eyes... ugh again. I just can't watch these bits without welling up.

i still tear up at all those scenes
do you know i thinking that had it of been the other way round i wonder how Didge would have coped with the grief?? For some really weird reason i could have coped with her eventually finding love again alot easier than i can Declan!!

For some really weird reason i could have coped with her eventually finding love again alot easier than i can Declan!! Maybe that is because we saw it happening already. Before they got together, Bridget was with Josh, Ringo and Chris. But Declan ALWAYS was alone and just waiting for Didge. Therefor we got a glimpse of how it could be. But Declan with somebody else we never got to see and can't imagine it therefor.

Little did he know it'd be the last time he'd say it to her while she was alive

apart from the girl he made out with back in november last year that was a 5 min thing. Wrong yes, but had nothing to do with a relationship or being attracted. It has always been Didge, and it will always be (hopefully) I never ever wanted a favorite character of mine to leave a show. But i would prefer Declan leaving the show, and not seeing him anymore, then to see him in another relationship.

Yeah Smilelino i completely agree, he should leave before a new relationship forms!!
Anyway i was thinking today if Declan and Didge didnt have India, i reckon Declan (in true neighbours fashion) would have moved on alot quicker from her, but because India is there he wouldnt be able to.
I was thinking this coz of when Ringo was going out with Jessica, they seemed really in love, sure Ringo was devistated for a little while but he moved on to Didge, then to Donna then to that Ashleigh chick (I never saw those episodes because i was out of australia when they aired) then back to Donna all in the one year after Jessica died.

James wasn't acting, he was living those moment. It just didn't seem like acting. In a later interview he admitted that he wasn't acting and that he just put himself in Declan's shoes and thought about how he would feel - came across very real if you ask me!!!
