Former Neighbours star James Sorensen returned to the set of the soap last month to witness Declan Napier's send-off, it has been revealed.
Sorensen bowed out from the role of Declan in early 2010 and was replaced by Erin Mullally after producers decided to recast the part.
Last October, however, it was announced that Mullally would also be leaving the show and he recently filmed his final scenes.
TV Week reports that Sorensen visited the Neighbours set for the occasion to wish Mullally well for the future and to see young twins Alia and Gabriella de Vercelli, who shared the role of Declan's daughter India.
"I couldn't miss this," Sorensen told the magazine.
The actor left Neighbours to join the army. However, it was recently revealed that he had left the military due to injury and is now pursuing a career as a professional photographer.

I always liked James and the way he looked. But oh my, i fell for him in a big way on this picture.
I have never seen James so attractive as on that picture. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me its the best he ever looked. To be honest when i saw this picture my heart missed a beat. Never happened to me before (apart my hubby of course).
I just cant get over it, how sexy he looks.

I've always thought Declan was really attractive, obviously, but more as part of the storyline and having a good character. Plus he was a bit too young looking in a way (even though he's the same age as me... but never mind). Here, and in other pictures since Neighbours he does look very... well, I hate to use the word... 'doable'!  |

Haha, Kate, how crude! But I do agree....he looks a lot older, I could buy him being supposedly about eighteen before because he looked so young and fresh-faced. I'm not sure about the stubble but he does look a lot more grown up and, to quote Suse, I wouldn't kick him out of bed! |
