thats exatly right i was watching the funeral the other day and the conversation was harry said " Bridget seemed pretty cool im sorry and then Kate says " yeah she was thought we were gonna be friends" like she was really and truely upset but now only months after she goes and moves in on her husband and daughter Couple of weeks ago I was watching the episode of the chocolates at the lake and at the end of it, the Ramsays are told their mum is dead. For someone who gets so annoyed about their mum being dead in later episodes, she's practically cheerful compared to when Declan was told that Didge hadn't made it.

and Lia i thought that was bad until i read this thanks to carly on nfans Declan and Kate: it's on! Kate finds more than one reason to celebrate turning 18 when Declan finally admits his true feelings for her This week, Declan finally puts his tragic past behind him when he plants a romantic kiss on Kate! The smitten teen has made an effort to give Declan space to sort out his feelings, so she's overjoyed by this confirmation that he's finally ready to move on from late wife Bridget and embark on a relationship. "The kiss is very special," promises Ashleigh Brewer, who plays the lovesick teen. "It's really in the moment." As viewers will recall, Kate and Declan briefly gave in to their attraction during schoolies week. But back then, Declan backed away from Kate after kissing her, making it clear that he felt he'd made a huge mistake. "That kiss certainly ended up being far from the fairytale moment Kate thought it would be," Ashleigh recalls. "At the time, Declan was still dealing with so much and he just didn't know how to work it out. It's certainly not every day that an 18-year-old has to deal with the fact that they've lost their wife. It was clear to Kate from what happened at schoolies that Declan really wasn't ready for a relationship," she adds. "He had to work out how to deal with things, while Kate had to take a step back and accept that maybe this wasn't the relationship for her." But, as Ashleigh continues, "Kate and Declan really do like each other. They respect each other and the different qualities they have. When they're together, sparks fly - and now it's grown/." Meanwhile, in spite of a surprise appearance by songstress Kate Ceberano, Kate's birthday gets off to anything but a good start when a well-meaning idea from Harry and Sophie backfires. Rather than put Kate in a celebratory mood, her siblings' plan to organise the type of bash their late mum would have thrown for her eldest daughter only serves to reawaken Kate's grief. "It's so hard for Kate," Ashleigh confirms. "In real life, a year on from losing your mother isn't a long time at all. She suddenly feels so sad thinking about how she has to go through her 18th birthday without her mum. But Kate bottles things up and won't say what's bothering her, even though this really affects her," Ashleigh notes. "She's very sensitive, so she becomes more introverted when this happens." It's at this point, however, that Declan steps in to save the day. When he arrives on Kate's doorstep later that night, birthday cake in hand, it proves to be the perfect remedy. Talking openly to Kate on the couch, Declan then moves in for a kiss. "I think Declan will show the audience that he cares for Kate quite deeply," Ashleigh reveals. "It will make them realise that he really does listen to what Kate wants and that he respects her wishes and the fact that she didn't want a big shindig for her birthday, but rather something that's meaningful to her. And that's exactly what he gives her - as well as a kiss," she adds with a smile. But while Kate and Declan's romance has only just begun, it won't be long before the pair find themselves on rocky ground once more. "There are more hurdles to overcome," Ashleigh hints. "It's safe to say nothing is going to come easily to these two." and the pictures are worse

I think we all need to stop watching now. It is not good for my mental health...I feel so depressed . And bloody Ashleigh with the comment about 'sparks flying'...what a croc of shit . I can't bloody stand her. I didn't watch tonight...was it awful? Bring on 12 weeks time when James has gone...at least he has finished filming now. I am going to update Bad Impressions tonight to cheer me up.

Yes tonight was a crock of shit! Declan acting like a puppy in love taking Kate to Donna and then he's like "Lets go get steak sandwiches!" to Kate...and it kinda reminded me of the roadtrip he took with Didge before they got married Then Kate's all like WAA WAA i thought Declan was going to make a move on me! woe is me and Donna's like "Oh you and Kate share something special" to Declan and i yelled "F*&% YOU" at the screen about 6 times... So yeah thats my mini rant over neighbours tonight...and i do think i should stop watching it is not good for my mental health either....

Yeah, I'm not going to bother anymore, I'm pleased James is leaving but I'm cranky that Declan is staying, wtf, honestly. I think we're better off just not watching from now on and just watching old Decget episodes....that's what I'm going to be doing. I'm going to find something else to watch instead during the week.
