I do think that the neighbours producers have cut us decget lovers some slack though.. i mean 7 months on and we're still getting mentions and we still have Declan struggling to move on.... i just think personally that i'm getting to greedy in hoping for a year with his ring on.... I bet when the new dude shows up he wont have a ring so i suppose Declan will have to take it off before the new Declan comes... Yeah you are right Lia. We really have been spoilt...I just DESPISE seeing him with her. I am kind of hoping that Dec will take his ring off before we have to endure iDec. Those moments belong to James. I just wonder if any mention will be made on the wedding anniversary, India'a birthday, and the anniversary of her death. I don't want any of them to go un-noticed...but I don't want iDec to utter her name either  . Just watched the shorts for tomorrow and there is a good glimpse of their wedding photo. |

good (: that wedding photo should never be taken down...even with new dec there..should remain there as a tribute to the best couple in neighbours history!!
I do but i dont want him to talk about Didge on those dates too Suse...maybe if Rebecca acknowlages them instead...meet us halfway

I feel the same way as suse dont really feel right with new Dec mentioing Didge will feel kinda weird but want something regarding Indys birth/Wedding/Didges death

oh i just realized how emotional this is going to be..i think i'll cry seeing as i'm welling up thinking about it now!!
I cant wait to see Dec in this episode..and hopefully Indy will make an appearance too...lets just hope theres no Kate coz if there is it'll just ruin it!

thats exatly right i was watching the funeral the other day and the conversation was harry said " Bridget seemed pretty cool im sorry and then Kate says " yeah she was thought we were gonna be friends" like she was really and truely upset but now only months after she goes and moves in on her husband and daughter

I think I could just pretend Kacklan wasn't happening and fastforward their bits or something but then there are those moments when they're trying to get around the fact that both Declan and Kate are hypocritical little so and sos for going there. Luring us in with potential Didge mentionings. It's just cruel. I actually think if they're serious about having Kate as everyone's favourite they just shouldn't have Kate mention Didge at all, because as long as that's hanging over her there is no way in hell I'm going to "warm to her". Pretend the characters hadn't ever interacted or something, wouldn't be the first time they deliberately messed up continuity so why not. It's bad enough having her in scenes with India. ...I was going to say that they should either go there unapologetically without all the "I feel so powerless" bits or stop pussyfooting around and just not do it at all. But actually I would still be bitching right now if they did. Mainly because ALL eventualities ending in Kacklan are HORRIBLE. |
