If Eloise had never joined the show and Decget had never existed, would you still have liked Declan?

Come on you lot, you have been very vocal about Eloise but haven't said a word about James or even voted. Do none of you like him anymore?

Hmm... good question.
I think my answer to this has changed at different points. I always think of myself as more of a Bridget fan, because she was probably the character that pulled me back into watching the show after ages of not watching it, but I came to be obsessed with Declan's backstory and character just as much very soon.
I do think you just couldn't seperate the one from the other in terms of the Neighbours era they were in together. He is still (UK pace) the best thing about Neighbours right now for me, in his own right (in SPITE of everything else). I just wish they'd draw on the reasons we used to like him for rather than trying to reinvent him...

I'm not quite as big a Declan fan as I was a Bridget fan, but he is still one of my favourite characters. If he and Bridget hadn't got together I would still have liked him and interested in his storylines, but I still prefer Bridget as a character. On a different note...how cute is that picture?! *Melts*

Yes I still would have liked him...but would I have become this obsessive without Didge by his side...I doubt it.

yes i would have.. i didnt like him when he first came on the show though i thought that he'd be the typical annoying guy thats on every now and again but when his backstory with his mum and his brother and his father and all that came out i started to really like him as a character
