Wow Suse, that was amazing as usual! Thank you for getting it up so quickly. I can't believe we are only 24 hours away now! when we started off 2 and a half years earlier, I never thought we would get there, and now we are nearly there, I'm so excited!!! I hope you aren;t going to tease us by doing a chapter for each hours untill we get there. I'm looking foward to finding out Eloise's reaction when he tells her.

OK, well I know there is no one here anymore lol, but I am having a relapse and I am determined to finish this off. I have been re reading it and I just love it so I want to finish it properly.
I have done the next chapter roughly and it's crap, but what can I do. My writing ability has escaped me sadly.
Will do it soon.

DISCLAIMER - This story is fictional and in no way reflects the actions or day to day activites of the characters involved. In other words..ITS MADE UP!
He sat outside in his car for ages, trying to summon the courage to go inside. The last words he said to her echoed in his ears and he couldn’t leave things as they were. He couldn’t deny his feelings any longer. He had to tell her. He had to tell her he loved her…tonight….
3 hours earlier..
Declan pulled back the covers and beckoned Bridget to join him…for the last time.
She knelt down and kissed him gently before lying next to him in the make shift bed on the floor of their daughters room. Declan wrapped his arms around her as they snuggled together and closed their eyes.
This is the last time I will feel his arms around me, Eloise thought on the silent set, what will happen now, will I ever see him again after today?
James tried to control his breathing, without much success. I can’t believe this is the end he thought to himself, if only she wanted to give us a go now that she is leaving.
“Cut” the director called.
Now the deafening silence was replaced by deafening applause as Margot, and what felt like a thousand others, piled on top of them.
All of the cast and crew turned up for the filming of the scene and the outpouring of emotion became all too much for Eloise.
Tears began streaming down her face, both from sadness and laughter.
After a quick photo opportunity of the gang piled on the floor, and everyone awkwardly getting up James and Eloise remained. He pulled her into a hug and she clung to him, sobbing onto his shoulder.
“I’m sorry I didn’t think I would be this emotional,” she hiccupped between sobs.
They pulled away and looked at each other and Eloise saw tears running down his face as well. This made her even worse and she threw her arms around him again.
“Come on you two,” Margot said as she held out her hands and helped them up. Margot then threw her arms around Eloise.
I am going to miss you so much,” she whispered between tears, “it’s just not going to be the same anymore.”
James looked on as Eloise was dragged away into the throng of people, a never ending line of hugs and kisses.
He knew that they had a presentation of gifts and a cake planned, but he wasn’t in the mood. He just wanted to be alone.
He wandered into the deserted greenroom and flopped into the lounge. There were so many memories in this room, most of them arguments, some of them fun times, but each one special to him in different ways.
As the afternoon went on Eloise became emotionally drained. She was completely overwhelmed at the effort everyone went to in making her last day special. She genuinely felt that she was going to be missed, and that touched her heart.
There had been so much going on around her for the last hour and a half, but one thing she did notice was that James was nowhere to be seen.
She dialled his number and he answered on the first ring
“Where the hell are you?” she asked annoyed.
“Just chillin in the green room,” he replied sadly
“Well you must be frozen solid by now, I haven’t seen you for ages,” she said as she slowly made her way to the green room door
“Sorry,” was his one word reply.
“Sorry…that’s all you have to say for yourself. It’s my last day. I would have liked you to have been there, “she said slightly annoyed.
“Well I don’t know what to tell you,” he said gruffly just as she walked through the door to face him.
“A bit more than just sorry would be nice,” she said, still talking into her phone.
“You can hung up now I think,” James teased.
She put her phone into her bag and stood there arms folded, waiting for an explanation.
“Well it looked too much like a celebration, and I am not celebrating,” he said sadly.
She felt guilty then; she hadn’t realized until that moment just how deeply her departure was affecting him.
She went and sat next to him on the lounge.
“Look I wish it didn’t have to end this way, but we both know why,” she explained gently.
“But we could have worked it out. The last few weeks have been fantastic, we had put that stuff behind us Eloise,” he said agitated
“I know the last few weeks have been amazing, but we have been so busy being Didge and Dec that we haven’t had a second to think about ourselves. It would have reared its ugly head again eventually…you know it would have,” she explained sadly
“Anyway it’s too late now, what’s done is done,” she continued
“Well that doesn’t mean I have to like it,” he sulked
Just as he uttered the words Eloise’s phone rang.
“Oh hi Joe,” she answered.
“What the hell”, he muttered , “I thought they had broken up”. He continued to listen to her conversation and he didn’t like it one bit.
“Well I am exhausted and was planning an early night, but if it’s that important you can come over at 7.30,” she said as she walked away from James. His intense gaze was making her uncomfortable.
She ended the call and turned to find James glaring at her.
“I thought you weren’t seeing him anymore,” he said in an accusatory tone.
“I’m not, not that it’s any of your concern, but he wants to come over and he won’t take no for an answer.
“Oh Eloise, surely you know what he wants to talk about. He wants you back. Now that you have finished Neighbours he thinks he can win you back.”
The very idea of it made him ill and he started to become more agitated.
“You don’t know that,” she said bemused, “maybe he just left something at my place and wants it back.”
“I will bet my car and motorbike that he wants you back because Caitlyn did the same to me last night,” James told her.
Eloise was shocked and a little bit jealous that he had seen her again.
“She turned up, thinking that because you were leaving, I would suddenly want her back,” he continued.
Eloise remained silent, now deep in thought, when James shocked her with more news.
“And I may as well tell you now…she knows...about what happened between us.”
Eloise’s jaw fell to the floor in shock.
“How could you tell her James,” she groaned and then a horrid thought hit her, “Oh God what if she has told Joe and that’s why he wants to see me. Oh God. I am not up to that confrontation today. I can’t believe you told her.”
“She begged me to know, and I couldn’t lie anymore, and it actually feels like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Anyway I really can’t see her sticking her nose in with Joe.”
“Well that’s what you said about the motorbike and we all know how well that turned out,” she snapped.
James rolled his eyes, “you had to bring that up didn’t you?”
“You know this is exactly the mess I wanted to get away from. I cannot wait to get back to uni and start off with a clean slate, no headaches,” she said flippantly.
That was the worst thing she could have possibly said. His already sombre mood turned for the worse and there was no going back. She obviously cannot wait to see the back of me, the evil voice in his head kept telling him.
He stared at her coldly “Nice! I apologise for being such a headache to you.”
”Oh I didn’t mean that…actually I don’t know what I mean,” she stammered, “and don’t start raising your voice either.
“I will do what I like with my voice, and anyhow, do you think my life has been a bed of roses since you came into it.”
“James….stop. I’m not getting into an argument now….not today,” she said trying to calm him down but his emotions were already out of control
“Too late, we’re already in the middle of one, but then again what’s new, that’s just what we do isn’t it. In fact I can’t believe that I even entertained the thought that we could have something special together at some stage.”
As he was ranting he stormed over to his locker and gathered his belongings, his head a whirling mess of rejection. He slammed the door as he finished and glared at Eloise Eloise just gaped at him in astonishment and she couldn’t get the words out to speak. Did he still have feelings for her? Did he still want to be with her even after everything they had put each other through?
“Nothing to say….fine….go back to your boring goody two shoes boyfriend….see if I care,” he yelled at her loudly and headed for the door.
“James…,” she began, wanting to tell him once and for all exactly how she felt.
“It was nice knowing you…now go to hell,” he said coldly as he slammed the door behind him leaving her alone, confused, and heart broken.

Well done Suse, It's not rubbish at all, as usual you have me sitting here wishing I hadn't read it because now I want to know what happened next and I'm not the patient sort when it comes to waiting for the next instalment.
I hope they do path things up in the end and embark on a wonderful relationship.

Haha AND her death was so much less sad than Bridget's! And not anywhere near as well done!
I know the feeling though, I'm working full time as a trainee manager of my McDonald's store and studying my managers course AND studying part time for uni!
