Entry one - Meeting each other
Well where do I start? Suppose I should tell you my name, my names Declan, but only my mum calls me that, you can call me Dec. Well what can I say about my new home. Its called Erinsbough and lets just say, its pretty daggy. And as for the people. Lets not even go there. Ringo is alright. He likes football, so thats cool. Zeke is just plain weird and as for Rachel she is so up herself she is coming out the other side. Then their is Bridget.
"You new around here?" Susan Kennedy asked Rebecca Napier as they got out of their removal van. "Yeah we are, my names Rebecca, lovely to meet you," Rebecca said as she got out the van and extended her hand, "this is my son Declan." Declan looked at her and nodded. "Dec," he said seriously as he looked across the street. "Dec," Rebecca said giggling, "he hates me calling him Declan."
"You should come round and meet Zeke and Rachel," Susan said as she looked at Dec. "Yeah, maybe," Dec said as he walked off up the drive. "I am so sorry about him," Rebecca said seriously, "he has had a rough time recently." Susan nodded at her. "Don't worry about it, I have had teenage boys myself, you get through it," Susan said as she walked off, "you must come round one afternoon meet the girls." Rebecca nodded smiling. "Yeah, yeah I'd like that."
"Who was he?" Rachel asked as she came away from the window as she looked at Susan. "Nosey, arent you?" Susan asked laughing. "Don't worry, she just fancies the pants off him," Zeke said laughing. "I do not!" Racehel said seriously. "His name is Dec," Susan said seriously.
"You new round here?" Ringo asked as he came out holding a ball. "Yeah, you play?" Dec asked as he looked at him. "Yeah I do, do you?" Ringo asked as he looked at him. "Yeah of course," Dec said as he looked at him. "Ready Ringo?" Bridget asked as she ran out of her house. Dec looked at her. "Can I help you?" Bridget asked as she looked at him. "Girls don't play footie," Dec said as he looked at her laughing. "Want a bet, you jerk," Bridget said as she looked at him as she stormed off. "Who the hell is she?" Dec asked as he turned round to face him. "Dec meet Bridget Parker, tomboy by nature and by looks," Ringo said laughing. Dec turned round and looked at her as she walked off in a huff.
"Zeke, Dec, Dec Zeke," Ringo said as he introuduced them as Zeke came out to join them for a kick about. "Alright," Dec said as he looekd at him. "Yeah I am, you?" Zeke asked as he looked at him. "Yeah," Dec said as he still looked at Bridget from the corner of his eye. "You done that assignment for PE?" Zeke asked as he looked at Ringo. "No," Ringo said scoffing. "Homework is for losers," Dec said as he looked at them. "Real good attitude that," Zeke said shaking his head. "Work gets you nowhere in life," Dec said as he walked off, "playing hard and fast gets you somewhere."
"What is your problem," Rachel said as she walked up to Dec. "Excuse me? I am not the person running up to someone I never met before, so what is your problem?" Dec asked as he looked at her. "You being a jerk to Bridget," Rachel said seriously. "Look if she is upset with me, thats her problem, not mine, so why don't you stop looking at me like your a stuck up princess," Dec said seriously as he stormed off. "I don't know who he is or why he is here, but he is a tool," Bridget said as she stared at the others annoyed.
Declan walked into his new house and slammed his bag down on the floor. "Jerks! The lot of them," Dec shouted out in anger. He looked out of the window and saw her kinking the football about with Ringo and Zeke and sighed as he just stared at her.
