Actress Jane Hall has quit Neighbours, after playing Rebecca Napier for almost four years. “I’ve decided its time to say ‘au revoir’ to Erinsborough,” Jane, 39, told TV Week. “It’s sad to be leaving … but I’m looking forward to the future and new and exciting acting adventures.” Hall is one of three new resignations. Matt Werkmeister, 18, has also quit after five and a half years of playing teenager Zeke Kinski. Meanwhile, Erin Mullally, 20, will also exit only six months after being cast as single dad Declan Napier. Mullally was cast as the character after actor James Sorenson quit the show. Hall plays his on-screen mother in the long-running soap.I am just annoyed that they brought in a new actor for a few month and messed the whole character of Declan up. They should have ended Declan when James left (Or even when Eloise left-and they could have started a new life somewhere else). At least no more Declan and Kate ;D But no more Indy

How would you feel
'congratulations you're playing one of the most popular characters on Neighbours because the actors leaving'
To
'you're going ...no one likes Declan anymore'
It isn't really his fault, I think had it been James that he'd have gone soon enough. Once Eloise left, they were marking time with Declan...the few weeks after her death were fine, then he went into hiding and came back Kate-loving. I could analyse this all day but there is no point, we all know it.

Poor Erin I've said it before and i will say it again - to even make the recast of Declan work they needed an actor with experience to make the role his own. It was never going to work but to be honest at least this way kachlen doesn't get a happy ending HA HA

Happy in a way but also sad because now both my favourite families have left Neighbours. And there'll be no more Indy
