If james had never joined the show and Decget had never existed, would you still have liked Didge?

Yes absolutely, she was an amazing character in her own right. I've always thought it would have been interesting to have seen her if it had been Declan who had died and how she would have coped and if she would have moved on (inevitably in Neighbours!) and who with.

Yes I liked her from the very start. She was a breath of fresh air and I have always been more of a Didge fan than a Dec fan. For some reason she made me care about her character...something I never really felt for the rest of them. In fact if Dec died leaving Didge behind I would happily want her to find love again. Odd...I know .

I'd want her to find love again too...
i think its because it frustrates me so much that Declan adored Bridget from the first moment he ever saw her and you can see that in the older clips so now that he's with Kate it's like "But that contradicts everything about this stupid show!"

i liked Didge as a character in her own right. I only really started to like Declan more when he got with her. On his own he was a bit patronising. I have always said that Eloise made James far more interesting. Point proven with the crap we have had to endure since her exit

I've always liked Didge and Dec in their own right but I've also always preferred Didge and also thought she was a refreshing character. This will sound horrible and I feel bad typing it as I do love Declan but I wish they had killed him off instead of Bridget.
