Glad to See Eloise is still getting plenty of acting work although I wish it would be TV work so that I could see it, possibly with James now that he is back on the acting scene even if it is only temporary.

I just like that she is doing so well theatre-wise...just shows everyone who laughed at her acting and said she would never go far. I just wish I could go to some of her plays. I echo you on TV-work though.

A review of Eloise's new play with a bio of Eloise and a small comment by Eloise herself: newsstore.fairfax.com.au/apps/viewDocument.ac;jsessionid=AE5A3E2F0D9B3B4700D703A49DA49656?sy=afr&pb=all_ffx&dt=selectRange&dr=1month&so=relevance&sf=text&sf=headline&rc=10&rm=200&sp=brs&cls=317&clsPage=1&docID=AGE111105M722D506QKCMignon describes Return to Earth as an ensemble work, with the emotional weight shared among the characters. "It feels like a huge piece because Lally has made it so dense," she says. "It is about a woman's prodigal return to the family home where her family is happy to see her," she says. "But her best friend (played by Anne-Louise Sarks) is edgy about her return because she has a sense of betrayal about the separation. Lally really catches the sense of claustrophobia that returning home can induce."
The actor is the daughter of Jean-Pierre Mignon, the founder of one of Melbourne's iconic independent companies of the eighties, Anthill Theatre, where Forsyth began her career.
Mignon is completing an arts degree at Melbourne University but says her expanding acting career keeps taking her away from her studies. She made her MTC debut in Tony McNamara's The Grenade last year which transferred to the Sydney Theatre Company.
She also performed in Simon Stone's hit adaptation of Ibsen's The Wild Duck at Belvoir Street earlier this year. She has already been cast in two Company B shows for 2012, as well as in one at the Malthouse Theatre.
She began performing on stage as a teenager and has continued to be fascinated by its challenges. "Acting interferes with my study, especially when I am working in Sydney, but I find it too rewarding to consider doing anything else."

I's nice to hear some direct quotes from her, (I can read them and hear her voice in my head) and It's nice to see she is in such high demand, it's just a shame (for me) that it is all on stage, looks like she will be too busy next year to do any tv work either. Being the opposite end of the globe is a real pain sometimes!

It's lovely to see that Eloise is in such high demand and very satisfying to prove to those that said she can't act that they are wrong about her. But I wish she would come and do some work in England so that I could go and watch her live (and dare I dream of actually meeting her.)
