I don't think there's that much in his comment about Kate being like Didge. I mean it's like Zeke said at the funeral, if there was something Didge believed in she fought it all the way.
That being said, the green deb is a lot more boring than some of the stuff Didge fought against.
She's nowhere near as feisty as our girl was.

I read through Bridget's diary entries and my God, Neighbours is the most unsubtle thing ever! Even if you hadn't read any spoilers it's very obvious that Bridget was going to find out she was pregnant because she talks about feeling very hungry and funny over and over again in a couple entries and also talks about having a strong feeling of having a girl in a lot of them.

They actually mentioned the hunger in an episode, think it was the time Ringo and Zeke got busted for buying that ute and Bridget and Declan were watching, until Didge dragged Declan off because she was hungry, and Declan was like "What? Again??"
I did like how they started putting titles on it after a while, and also the fact that barring that one entry, Declan always talks to Didge.

A Fast Fix to Wash Away the Pain!
All I wanted was to ignore the whole Deb thing, a good action flick, a pizza and my little girl sleeping beside me, what else could a guy ask for? Probably not the best male fantasy out there, but it was all I wanted, when I didn’t have the girl I wanted by my side. I was all ready for a night in with the remote control and pepperoni pizza. But something kept at me, probably you Didge. Your words in my subconscious, telling me to go to the Deb, that Kate needed a friend for support, and that I probably did too.
So I chucked on a suit, told Mum to pick me up a corsage, some flowers, anything, and I rescued Kate from a fate worse than falling flat on her face in front of Jason Coleman, turning up with an old man on her arm!!!
It was alright, the Deb. It was nice to be there with our mates. Everyone looked hot, you would’ve stole the show though Didge! I missed you a lot, but I put on a brave face, I handled it. But I was glad when it was over, I’m not in to this stuff anymore, it seems so trivial in the big scheme of things. I just want to concentrate on studying, getting through the exams, and looking after Indy. That’s really all that counts at the moment. I’m probably a bit despondent, haven’t fully merged into the real world without you, but I’m getting there. Still feel numb most the time. Sometimes I break through. Mostly when I’m with Indy!!
How’s it going up there? Or, out there? Wherever you are! It helps to think that you’re still around, somewhere. I pretend that you are. People would think I’ve lost it if they heard me talking to you when I’m alone.
For some reason, you still make me a better person.
Harry stuffed up! He put his family on the line for a crush on some chick at school. Amanda Fowler was at the core of it all, convinced him to smuggle booze into the Deb for her. She’s a nutcase that girl! He almost got me suspended, could’ve stuffed it up for me totally, I wouldn’t have been able to sit my exams. I gave Dan a tip-off that someone was going to take alcohol into the formal, I just couldn’t get through to Harry so I thought it would scare him off. But it didn’t, he just planted the evidence in my locker!
What a moron! But I was a bit of a moron when you met me! I think that's why I'm trying to look out for Harry, I see a bit of myself and my own stuff-ups in him. Those fast fixes, to wash away the pain, covering up what's really going on inside. I guess avoiding the Deb was me doing that all over again.
It all sorted itself out in the end. But not sure if child services are going to split the Ramsay’s up!They might. Kate was pretty fired up. It would be a shame if that happened. Harry can be such an idiot sometimes!
That’s about it for now… Oh, Lucas asked Elle to marry him at the Deb, but she just ran out on him without giving him an answer. Poor guy, looked like a tool standing there on his own, with his mouth hanging open. Talk about crushing a guy’s ego! She’s good at that, Elle!
As always, I love you Bridget Parker! And miss you sooooo much.

"when I didn’t have the girl I wanted by my side" "haven’t fully merged into the real world without you" "How’s it going up there? Or, out there? Wherever you are! It helps to think that you’re still around, somewhere. I pretend that you are. People would think I’ve lost it if they heard me talking to you when I’m alone" "And miss you sooooo much"- i realised that although it's obvious that he is missing her - he hasn't actually said it - it would be nice to have a scene where he breaks down with Rebecca admitting how much he still misses her lovely diary entry though

Lovely entry I agree that a scene where he breaks down would be great. It's good to read about how much he misses her still. I agree that Declan was a bit of a moron when Bridget first met him but I don't think he's set someone up like Harry did with him.

Ambition and Lucky Charms
“I dare do all that may become a man, who dares do more is none”! Knowing when to start, how to go about it, and when to stop! Well, I hope I achieved that in my English exam! It’s over, no more Shakespeare, if I never have to read another Shakespeare play I’ll be a happy man! I had my lucky charm with me, Indy’s booties, the one’s she wore home from the hospital. I use them cause I figure she’s the luckiest thing that’s ever happened to me! We all had our lucky charms, Sunny handed out some Korean good luck thingys to Zeke and Ringo and Kate had her own. Donna turned up with Sardines! Yep, apparently because they’re brain food. Y’know Donna!
Actually Donna hasn’t had a good run lately, got treated really badly by Saffron, some fashion witch-woman she was working with! She’ll be alright. It was her 18th yesterday, she wanted us on call the whole day, but it was the day before exams…. So we met her for a bite to eat at Charlies. I missed you there, it would’ve been your turn next!
Oh, by the way, I think I nailed my English exam on Macbeth. Cool huh! I just started to think like you Didge, and that helped. Knowing how you love to dissect everything.
And, Kate nailed the dance audition. She’s going to be dancing for Coleman! That’s cool hey.
Macbeth – ambition can overpower us all… He should’ve known that being together with his wife is a lot more important than his own ambition. He learnt that in the end, but a little too late. I’m glad I learnt my lessons before we parted, my angel!
I love you Bridget Parker.
As always.

Ambition and Lucky Charms I missed you there, it would’ve been your turn next! But her Birthday was 31st August according to her Gravestone so she would already be 18! Even in Death after finally giving her a Date of Birth they still get the Continuity Wrong! GGRRRRRRRRRRR!

omg i was thinking the same thing?!
well at least we got our wish...even though it was on the wrong date
speaking of continuity....heres a few things i noticed today
1) The ultrasound they used for libby and dans little boy is the same as they used for India 2) They re-used the bag that Dylan bought Kerry clothes in for Declan's 18th present....even though it was pink lol
