Eloise has a small role in Matthew Newton's film 'Three Blind Mice', where she portrays the role of a prostitute named Grace. The film originally was shown around the world at various film festivals but has been picked up by a select few cinemas in Australia (not the massive ones like Village, more smaller independant cinemas).
I have only seen clips of the film and whilst Eloise doesn't have a large role (I think only a few lines) the movie looks good and I say I'll see it but knowing me I won't get around to seeing it ...
Anyway this is a short summary of the film which I stole from imdb
Three young Navy officers hit Sydney for one last night on land before being shipped over to the Gulf to fight. Sam has been mistreated at sea and is going AWOL, Dean has a fiancé and the future in-laws to meet, and Harry just loves playing cards. Throughout the night the boys lose each other, find themselves, and along the way discover courage, friendship and redemption.

I've seen it! *so smug*. It was at a film festival that my university newspaper was giving free tickets to last year, and the director was there as well...
It's really good! I mean, yes, I was just watching it for the fact that I'd seen that Eloise was in it from IMDB. But it was worth seeing anyway, I loved it.
Yep. She does play a prostitute, but she's kind of a- what's the word here?- novice prostitute. It's not seedy or anything. I'm putting a little summary of her part here in pink for mild spoilers (highlight to read) but she's just basically in this scene where they're at the A and E department getting her character's pimp seen to because they (the main characters) got into a fight because they didn't show up to meet her. But they all make friends after that. It's quite funny. It's her and this older prostitute who's a bit bitter because she (Eloise's character) is the young, pretty one. And I think she is supposed to be french (although I couldn't tell because she doesn't have that many lines in actual english so that i could hear what her accent was) because the main character's girlfriend (Gracie Otto) is sat there in the waiting room practicing her very bad french on her and the older prostitute keeps telling Eloise's character that it's rude to speak in another language with other people around. It's really sweet. Watch it if you can! I'll look for the trailer when I get home to my own computer and see if there's a way I can get it to work for everyone.

OK, not huge news but I just found this clip, which is kind of Eloise related because they're talking about her character (the 'sweet and lovely' one) on the phone: www.traileraddict.com/clip/three-blind-mice/a-phone-callAgain it doesn't make the film sound very nice about women, I know, but it's kind of the style... anyway.

When I ripped it the sound was very low on the DVD itself, so consequently the DVD rip had the same issue.
After spending 4 hours the other day trying to install LAME codec into my PC and failing several hundred times I just gave up have had to use the propriety settings for DVDshrink and VirtualDub so I cannot alter the sound in any significant way I'm afraid.
If you turn up your volume it should become easier to hear though.

I found this advice on the DivX site If you don't have it then install this - www.free-codecs.com/download/ac3_filter.htmopen the AC3 filter config in the Programs list and in the configuration tab increase the volumes, especially the Master and Voice.
