Right this is the latest from our friends at perfect blend. 1st AUGUST 2009 * Is it true that James Sorensen (Declan) will be taking a break in 2010 to take a role in the new Transformers movie? I've heard this one before - but no, there's no truth in that. * I've heard that Kate and Declan will kiss and become a couple before the end of 2009 - is that true? There may be some romance for one of them, or both of them - but not necessarily with each other! Mmm...ambiguous much!! At least that gives us a bit of hope that the kiss won't happen, at least this year, and if its some bloody randomer then we can happily wish to stick pins in her eyes guilt free, knowing she will be gone in a short amount of time. Then again Steve did mention that there are some new cast members arriving later in the year..so it could be one of them  . |

As much as i hate to see Declan getting a new love interest, there will be now way out from it. If James stays in Neighbours, which seems he is, they will have to give him eventually a new love. I just hope if it will happen, that Didge won't be forgotten. Declan should mention her, and also Bridget should stay the love of his life, and not that the new girl will be THE ONE for him. Declan shouldn't find it to easy to move on, and if he does she should accept bridget being a big part of Declan and India. I just hope it will not be Kate. I don't like seeing her and Declan together. Maybe because they pushed them to early to have scenes togehter.
My only hope is, when James quits, we will see Eloise coming back, and we will have any sort of scenes bettween Declan and Bridget.

Just kidding, I watched Neighbours tonight for the first time in a while and the vibe is just....not there. Though the Ringo/Dec stuff tonight was a laugh

It's hard to explain I loved Neighbours before Decget and it took me a while to warm to Declan and Bridget. I liked Declan alone and didn't really care for Didge, but when the two got together my likes for both of them skyrocketed to infinity. Now that there is no Bridget, it just feels so different, like there is something missing which there is. I'm glad they are going in depth with Dec's grieving and it isn't like 'oh okay, no Didge let's go shag whoever isn't partnered up' but idk I can't explain it. Neighbours just isn't the same anymore. Maybe it's because I'm not watching it as much as I did prior to Didge's death - not because of that but because since that week I haven't had the time and I've realised that school is more important than TV...oh god my friends would die of shock if they read that, but yeah. |

A. Too true - it is a bit too soon, even for soapland. A Neighbours source assures me that: "Declan and Kate are both at crossroads in their lives, and while it's too early for romance, they're a great support for each other. Friendship is the best option for the moment."

Thats the response we wanted to hear. Just the 'for the moment' makes me a tad nervous

yep i read that first bit too and  i think they will be good friends first which is better really Because that way it hasn't got the instant sparkage that Dec/Didge had - it sounds like it will have more of a Stef/Toadie vibe to it i think which is great because they're crap! (in my opinion anyway!) |

She's already taken Bridget's empty gap in the girl group and filled it quite nice and cosily which is already annoying me, it's like Bridget never existed! grr
